In compliance with California's workplace violence prevention law (SB 553 / Cal. Lab. This interactive course is designed to help foster a safe, respectful, and prepared campus community.

About the Training

The Workplace Violence Prevention Training is a 40-minute interactive course that educates staff and faculty on how to:

  • Recognize the warning signs of potential workplace violence
  • Report workplace violence concerns appropriately
  • Respond effectively to workplace violence incidents

Through a series of realistic scenarios involving coworkers, intimate partners, and third-party individuals, staff and faculty will learn best practices for maintaining safety and preventing violence in the workplace.
