Embracing Sustainability: Plated Dining Returns to Browne Dining Hall

Attention Caltech community!

We are thrilled to share that Browne Dining Hall is leading the way in making our campus more sustainable and eco-friendly. Aligned with our commitment to environmental responsibility, we are excited to announce a key shift in our dining services.

Plated Dining Returns to Browne: Starting this week, all meals served in Browne Dining Hall will be served on Reusable Plates. This significant change ensures that each dining experience contributes to a more eco-conscious Caltech. By switching back to reusable silverware and plates, we're taking steps to reduce our waste and carbon footprint.

While we emphasize the benefits of dining in for a fully sustainable experience, take-out containers will remain available. However, they will only be provided upon specific request when placing your order to further our waste reduction efforts.
