Campus Security Bicycle Patrols

The Campus Security Department has added bicycle officers to its campus patrol lineup. The bicycle patrols offer enhanced visibility, as well as increased engagement with the Caltech community. The bicycle officers can be seen in their high-visibility safety vests patrolling both the interior and the perimeter of campus. The officers also supplement parking enforcement by patrolling loading docks and other timed parking zones. The bicycle patrols went into effect in May of this year, and the response from the Caltech community has been positive.
