Re: Register for Caltech's April 30 Vaccine Clinic

All Caltech undergraduates, graduate students, faculty, staff members on campus and at JPL, researchers, and postdocs who have not yet been vaccinated are invited to sign up for Caltech's on-campus vaccine clinic to be held on April 30.

Make your appointment today at:
https://kordinator.mhealthcoach.net/vcl/CaltechJPL1stdose

Please do not share the link with individuals external to Caltech as it will only inhibit other eligible invitees from securing an appointment.

This free clinic will offer first doses of the Moderna vaccine by appointment only. Appointments are restricted to individuals (aged 18 years or older) who are enrolled at or employed by Caltech, including at JPL.

At this time, Caltech is not able to offer vaccine appointments to employees' family members or housemates. If there are still available appointments in the days prior to the clinic, Caltech may invite friends and family members to sign up.

As of April 15, the entire state of California expanded vaccine eligibility to include all residents over the age of 16. The vaccine is now available to all members of the undergraduate community as well as employees at JPL.

Following the April 30 clinic, we are planning to host another first-dose Moderna vaccine clinic on May 7. Anyone who receives their first dose at Caltech will be registered for our second dose clinics to be held a month later, currently planned for May 28 and June 4.

Approximately two-thirds of active students and employees have reported to the Institute that they have received at least one vaccine dose. The Institute aims to ensure that all members of the community have the opportunity to be vaccinated, as a high vaccination rate is critical to the safe resumption of traditional campus operations and activities.

All members of the community, including students, staff, postdocs, and faculty, should record their current vaccination status and update any future changes to that status in the Caltech COVID-19 Reporting ApplicationThese attestation records will help to inform the Institute's pandemic-response planning effort and the resumption of on-campus operations.
