Adopt an Angel Program - Foothill Unity Center

November 8, 2012

Caltech Human Resources is once again sponsoring the annual "Adopt an Angel Program", which provides holiday gifts for children of poverty-level families from the San Gabriel Valley area. Adopting an Angel is an opportunity to buy new toys or clothes for a child who would not normally get a gift this holiday season.

To adopt an "Angel", please visit the Human Resources office at 399 S. Holliston between 7:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. There are many decorated paper angels bearing the name of a child, his/her age and information about the child.  You will then be asked to bring in an unwrapped gift for your Angel, with his or her name attached, to the Human Resources office.  All gifts must be received by Friday, November 30. This is earlier than the deadline in the past years, so please visit the HR office soon to get your "Angel"!

The Angel Program is affiliated with the Foothill Unity Center, a nonprofit organization that provides critical support in the form of food, clothing, motel vouchers, referrals, and advocacy for people in crisis who reside in Pasadena, South Pasadena, Altadena, Monrovia, Arcadia, Sierra Madre, Bradbury, Duarte, Baldwin Park, Irwindale and Azusa.

Thank you for your support of this program over the years - it is a great way to give back to our community.
