Spring 2026 Dissertation Writing Bootcamp

The Caltech Library and the Graduate Studies Office invite graduate students who are writing their dissertations this Spring to join us for a 2 day Dissertation Writing Bootcamp on March 19-20, 2026 in the Sherman Fairchild Library on the third floor.

The Bootcamp provides a calm, distraction-free environment for writing, along with refreshments and writing/formatting support. Students are expected to attend both days.

Over the two days, optional consultations with the Hixon Writing Center and Caltech Librarians will help students address formatting, copyright, data, and writing questions.

Registration on the Caltech Library calendar is required.

Registration ends Monday, March 2, 2026 at 12 noon PST.

Note: When registering, you must certify that if selected you will be able to attend the Dissertation Bootcamp on both March 19th (all day) and March 20th (all day). Please understand the Library will contact your advisor to confirm your availability.
