Research Data Management
One of the most important things you can do, as you start to do research, is organize and back up your files so you can easily find them later or even after the project is over.
This session covers the necessary skills – including file organization and naming, documentation, backup, and project close out – to save yourself a headache whenever you need to find and use your research data.
Taught by Kristin Briney, Caltech's Biology & Biological Engineering Librarian and author of The Data Management Workbook and Data Management for Researchers.
Participants must be pre-registered on the Library calendar.
