Theater Arts Caltech presents "A Hollow in the Hills", January 18-20

January 8, 2019

Theater Arts Caltech presents A Hollow in the Hills, January 18-20 in Ramo Auditorium.

A Hollow in the Hills is a collection of haunting one-act plays written by Penelope Chan, based on the short stories of Nathaniel Hawthorne. The pieces blend allegory and magical realism to create a dreamscape world where the audience is immersed in sound and emotion, while an ensemble of multi-talented actors directed by Barbie Insua and Josh Zeller weaves tales of guilt, redemption, despair, and hope through movement, voice, and live sound-effects. Don't miss the debut performances of two of Caltech's international freshmen (Ali Cataltepe and Olivine Silier).

Performances are Friday, January 18th at 9:00pm; Saturday, January 19th at 2:30pm and 7:30pm; and Sunday, January 20th at 2:30pm, in Ramo Auditorium.

Tickets are $13 general admission, $10 Caltech/JPL IDs, and $5 students (with ID).  You can purchase tickets from the Ticket Office, or tickets can be purchased at the door.

Theater Arts Caltech is under the guidance of Director Brian Brophy.
