Explore Caltech 2020 has been canceled.

On Saturday, March 14, you're invited to Explore Caltech as the Institute brings science and engineering out of the lab and into the community, sharing the excitement of discovery through family-friendly open-air laboratories, a series of engaging 10-minute talks by Caltech researchers, and a keynote panel discussion about how science shapes and explains sports. This panel, entitled "The Science of Sports," will feature a conversation between three of Caltech's top scientific leaders, refereed by an Emmy-award-winning ESPN sports commentator. Join us in Beckman Auditorium at 11 a.m. for this special event.

This one-day event is free and open to the public.

Explore Caltech was launched in 2018 as Science for March, an event initiated by Caltech postdoctoral scholars seeking to share their passion for STEM with the local community. Scientists from all of Caltech's six academic divisions and JPL participated, bringing the joy of discovery to the more than 2,000 members of the local community in attendance.

Explore Caltech is sponsored and organized by Caltech's Office of Strategic Communications, the Caltech Postdoc Association (CPA), Caltech's Graduate Student Council (GSC), Theater Arts at Caltech (TACIT), and Caltech's Center for Teaching, Learning, and Outreach (CTLO). The event is made possible with support from the greater Caltech community.
